What are you doing for the holidays? Have you guys ever gone to the Magaliesberg mountains? If you haven’t, you’re really missing out. There’s a lot of fun to be had up there. We stayed at one of the cheap accommodation hartbeespoort dam for a couple of days. It was a very memorable experience. There are lots of activities to keep you entertained and we tried to do a little bit of everything. They have fishing rods at the reception area at the lodge which you can rent by the hour. It was the first time I ever went fishing so I became a bit frustrated when I didn’t catch something immediately. My husband however thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He seems to have a talent for catching fish and caught quite a few. I think it’s carp they have up there, but I’m not sure. It’s a catch and release system though, so we didn’t get to have any of the fish for dinner.
