David Letterman on Palins Daughter
Frankly there David Letterman, you have shown very little taste, shown your stupidity, and if you were any kind of a man you would apologize. Yes--David--you are an "ASS". Attacking ones Daughter, how big of you, or is it--How big is your mouth. Why is it that every time Sarah Palin opens Her mouth, she is attacked by the Media. Why is that when Sotomayor was called racist by Rush Limbaugh, the Media was all over Him, yet the only ones to condemn the behavior of Letterman are numerous Bloggers on the Internet. I have Slammed Obama, Limbaugh and numerous political figures, yet never attacked or used their children as fodder. You "Sir", and I use that lightly, need to be escorted behind the "Wood Pile". If you wish to "Slam" Palin--stick to Her, and leave Her children out of it, but then that would take "Class", and you Have none.

I can agree with you on some of Limbaughs comments. Keeping in mind that the success of any "Talk Show" is related to their ability to incite the listener, and incorporate "Debate" into their program, they at times tend to explode a minor subject, twist and turn the facts for this purpose. Without the continual bashing of either party, Talk Shows--be they Left, Right, or nuetral would suffer if they did not have controversy on a dailey basis--hence the continual harping and somewhat non-factual opinions expressed by many well Known hosts. Even your most die-hard Bush or Obama basher, will have durations of time that they have nothing to complain about---therefore they must create a subject--be it relevent or not to feed their listeners.

Well, he's now apologized, twice. Perhaps Palin can go back to being a governor, although I suspect she'll find other ways to keep herself in the news.
The way I see it, a bad joke isn't newsworthy, although it has been in the news for the past week. A potential Supreme Court nomination is news, as are comments made about the nominee by supposed pundits.
Although it didn't happen, I'd be happy to see Letterman's joke ignored, while seeing Limbaugh's stupid comments exposed for what they are. Comedians are not held to any level of truthfulness, nor should they be. Those who present themselves as pundits, even if they are actually bad comedians, should be held accountable for their positions and reporting.
